Genetic counselling sessions are available for individuals or families who would like to understand inherited health conditions, family medical history, reproductive considerations, childhood developmental concerns, or results from genetic testing.

SESSIONS MAY INCLUDE:

Review of personal and family health history

Explanation of relevant conditions and inheritance patterns

Discussion of genetic testing options when appropriate

Support in interpreting and understanding test results

Planning of next steps or referrals to specialists if required

Guidance on communicating medical information to family members

No laboratory testing or sample collection is performed in-house.

If testing is required, coordination can be arranged with accredited laboratories.

PSYCHOLOGY

The psychology service provides structured conversations focused on emotional wellbeing, daily functioning, life adjustments, and personal coping strategies. The aim is to support clarity, reflection, and practical approaches to managing ongoing situations.

SESSIONS MAY INCLUDE:

Discussion of current concerns and contributing factors

Exploration of patterns in thoughts or behaviours

Development of coping strategies and routine-based approaches

Support during periods of change, stress, or uncertainty

Consideration of lifestyle factors that may influence wellbeing

Medication management is not provided.

If medical or psychiatric evaluation is needed, referrals can be arranged.

NUTRITION COUNSELLING

The nutrition service focuses on developing practical routines and approaches to food that align with personal health needs and lifestyle. The emphasis is on sustainable habits rather than restrictive plans.

Digestive comfort and metabolic health

Routine building for balanced eating patterns

Prenatal and reproductive nutrition considerations

Nutrition for hormonal and general wellbeing

Long-term planning for manageable and realistic nutrition habits
